Michael Theroux has been playing stringed instruments for over 35 years. His love for music started when his mother gave him his first records at the age of 5 - The Beatles and Elvis!

Michael has over the years performed and recorded with several bands including Bluestone Shades, Phil Guy, The Primal Drones, Custom Deluxe, Shakin' Snakes, Unity The Band, and he currently plays music in the duos, "Miss Molly" and "Polar Alchemy".

Michael has been a constant student of the Blues, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, Reggae, Celtic, Rock, and also East-Indian classical music, and Middle-Eastern music. He has also been teaching music for over 20 years. Michael has a deep grasp of musical theory, and can easily impart this knowledge to his students.
