I started taking piano lessons at a young age. I later picked up Guitar, Electric Bass, Drum Set, and Concert Percussion. Under teachers such as Rose Wellhouse, Michael Ross, Michael Ratch, Jamie Lynn Fletcher, Loren Dempster, Matt Turner, Marisol Kuborn, Marc Sackman, Theresa Martin, Chad Ellis, and Neil Davis, I began to study music in school, first at the Renaissance School for the Arts, then at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, and now at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. My first year of college was spent with a percussion focus at UW-Fox Valley under Marisol Kuborn, focusing largely on mallet instruments and concert percussion, and I then switched to guitar for my second year under Chad Ellis, focusing on Jazz. Now, I continue to study guitar under Neil Davis at UWO. In 2018, I started teaching private lessons from my home, and I hope to expand with more students, working in more areas. I love nearly all genres of music, but I especially enjoy Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Blues, and Jazz. I am also the guitarist and one of the vocalists for the band In Real Time, with which I have played numerous live shows and recorded and produced an album called “Inspiration On Demand,” and a single with a music video called “Pariinrai.” I have also worked with other acts such as the Dirty Nerds, playing at venues all over the Fox Valley.
