Andrea began teaching at Island Music in 2003, and now maintains a large studio offering
piano, harp, clarinet, and saxophone lessons for children as well as adult students. Andrea
enjoys incorporating music theory and history into the students’ lessons to promote a multi
faceted understanding of the music they are learning.
Andrea has performed extensively throughout the Fox Valley area with a variety of
organizations including the Ripon College Wind Ensemble, Ripon College Orchestra, Marion
College Varsity Band, Fond du Lac Community Band, Fond du Lac Chamber Orchestra,
Oshkosh Chamber Singers, Oshkosh Symphony, UW Oshkosh Wind Ensemble, UW
Oshkosh Orchestra, and UW Oshkosh Early Music Ensemble.
Andrea completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Wisconsin
Oshkosh in 2004. She has been coaching and accompanying the Rock Island Orchestra and Fiddle Club since 2005. Andrea is currently a registered adjudicator for the Wisconsin School
Music Association and regularly judges Solo and Ensemble festivals.
